For several years, I was part of a team that helped make sure people in the Mid-South had the blood they needed, when they needed it. Awareness campaigns, blood drives, promotions, educational materials, and our pièce de résistance, DonorFest — an annual festival to celebrate blood donors and drive more donations during the critical summer months.
